A Russian company is planning to produce an electric car by the name of “Hellas”. A sample automobile was presented by the Avtovaz company last autumn at the “RosNanoTechExpo”. According to a report on russia.gr the factory apparently produced two samples and following strict tests has large hopes that it will make a hit on the Russian market. The car’s weight is1200 kg. and it accelerates to 100 km / h in 13 seconds, top speed – 140 km / hour. Distance – 150 km while Its recharge time from the home network is calculated at about eight hours.
The car is constructed from imported parts and right now is priced at a hefty 25 000 euros. That is a steep price, but the company hopes to market the car in the southern area of Russia where the temperature is fair year-round.
